DescriptionTitle page from King Conan #6. 1981Buscema/Chan/Conan, a classic combo. Loses points for Conan not being shirtless, but very high quality vastus muscles. And man, Buscema really knows how to draw a horse! The horse tracks and shadow shading add nice detail to the desert background. Top and bottom banners are paste-ups, but title is lettered on board. Classic! And from an L. Sprague DeCasmp novel too!

Buscema and Chan hit their stride in this era and stayed at the top for the longest stretch. King Conan allowed them to build up another Conan title! It looks cool with this opener on the horse to set us on a new adventure.
