Provenance: From the estate of Bruce Henshell, with dual inscription from Silverberg and Emshwiller. Stamped return address from Emshwiller’s Levittown studio on reverse.

Notes: Bold surrealist imagery showcasing Emshwiller’s signature mechanical aesthetic. Marked “EMSH” in lower right. Editorial layout marks visible; slight corner wear and crease at bottom-left.

Significance: Original published art for Silverberg’s short story. A rare surviving collaboration piece between two titans of mid-century sci-fi.
