This was inspired by an Alex Ross Spidey cover but Charles channeled a little Kraven�s last hunt here. I adored Charles various Spidey Covers over the years. He killed on this.

Amazing and spectacular! His Web of Spider-Man #1 cover was such a memorable book for us collectors that started collecting in the early/mid eighties. Congrats!

Glad you made it to this year's list of commissions! A fun, menacing Spidey piece. Imagine seeing this is a graveyard... It's crazy how with a similar prompt Charles created something completely different in 2023 with my commission.

Honestly I'm not a big fan of the black costume, but the only exception I have ever made was with Vess. I think this version is really suited to his style of art. This is a perfect example. Absolutely gorgeous!
