Ticonderoga original art by Hugo Pratt. What is particular about this Ticonderoga page is the illustration made by Hugo on the back of the page that would be of a young Gisele Dester, his assistant and partner in those years, which makes the page a rarity within the already historic Ticonderoga page. This page was originally published in the Frontera comic book, and the format is different from the Ticonderoga stories published in Frontera Extra

Interesting, so he used Gisele as the reference for a drawing that became Clara. Here's a photo of young Gisele herself.

Artists often look to people close to them for inspiration to give their characters a face. I'm the son of a comic artist, I can tell you this.
