Description

Just picked up this fantastic bronze of Captain America by Randy Bowen. The work depicts the classic full body image of Silver Age Captain America w/his shield, running across star, Based off of Jack Kirby's design. Produced in 1998 by Marvel Characters. Inc. This one is marked as #40/100; the original edition size for this sculpt was listed as 50, but only 35 were actually ever produced.

The Bowen statues set the standard back then! Really cool to see how the market and demand exploded during the 90's as statues and busts as we saw our 2D heroes now in high class 3D.
