Pencil and ink on cardboard 14.5 × 20.5 cm Original comic art by Leone Frollo for "The Seven Vicious Dwarves," the first installment of the celebrated Snow White series, published by Edifumetto in 1972. Loosely based on the fairy tale of the same name, the work follows the adventures of the naive protagonist who is introduced to the pleasures of sex by the seven dwarves. The saga, set in a universe populated by princes, queens, and monstrous creatures, follows Snow White as she resists the erotic assaults of the characters around her, preserving her virginity in the early issues, before later transforming into the champion of free, joyful, and guiltless sex. Exactly ten years after the debut of Diabolik and the noir comic, another revolution took shape on Italian newsstands: from an intuition by Renzo Barbieri, Snow White was born, destined to shake public opinion and cause quite a stir. The series broke the mold and dismantled the taboos of the time, offering bold, provocative social satire and an explicit critique of the moralistic, conservative, and hypocritical culture of the time. Thus, a new narrative genre was born: sexy fairy tales for adults. Social/Sharing |

Thanks Jeff, I agree with you. Frollo manages to combine decadent nostalgic charm with the soft sensuality of feminine curves, like a timeless alchemy.

Ho sempre adorato Frollo.
