Description

B�lit takes the lead in this great panel page that sees the pirate bribing some guards to sneak herself and the Black Corsairs into the city of Messantia. Solid inking over Buscema's trademark style here, especially in the fourth panel closeup of Conan and B�lit. Signed by Buscema in top margin. Pencil and ink on Marvel Comics art board. 10 1/2" x 15 3/4". NOTE: The Tribe was a pseudonym used by Tony Dezuniga's Action Studios whose roster boasted several notable Filipino artists including Rudy Nebres and Alfredo Alcala.

Prized Buscema Conan page when a maiden as fair as Belit is featured. Buscema babarian babes are always exciting to the readership if they be seductresses or adventurers.

Fabulous John Buscema Conan page! You really can't beat John Buscema when it comes to drawing the Hyborean Age. Amazing how much detail Big John put into every panel. Lovely to have Belit grace the page here. She was such a terrific addition to the Conan saga. And her appearance on any page automatically ups its value. Great pick-up, congrats!
