Description

Unlike the wolf who intimidated Palumbo with the nearness of his bulk, Grendel's intimidation and threats are more direct. Palumbo assures Grendel the plan to entrap Argent is perfectly concocted and laid.

Another lucky acquisition that pleased several of my OCA wants. I wanted art by Phil Hester? Check. I wanted something featuring Grendel? Check. I wanted my first ever complete story? Check.

This is page 6 of an 8-page story that appeared in GRENDEL: RED, WHITE & BLACK issue #2 back in 2002. Each of the four issues included five 8page stories, all written by Grendel creator Mat Wagner. Red White & Black was the third 4book series.

The story is a simple story of double-crossing betrayal, but told with flair and a twist that Grendel deserves. The story features great pictures of Argent the wolf, Grendel, Stacey, and Hunter Rose.
