DescriptionLady and the Tramp Lady Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1955). Presented in this lot is an adorable production rough animation drawing featuring Lady. In traditional animation, the first drawings are called "roughs" or "rough animation" because they are often done in a very loose style. Rough animation is created first to establish position, style, and timing for movement on screen. If the animation is successfully pencil tested and approved by the director, clean versions of the drawings are done. Drawn in loose graphite and red color pencil, the 16 field 3-peg hole animation drawing is numbered 61 1/2 on the bottom right corner. Lady measures at about 3.75" x 3.5" on the page set up like she's standing on a bed with a curious and slightly troubled look on her face. The page has light age-related toning stronger on the bottom edge, two peg hole support from production, and handling and edge wear with a few tears on the bottom edge. Altogether this remarkable drawing of Lady is in Good to Very Good condition.Social/Sharing |
