DescriptionA Wild Hare Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd Limited Edition Cel #443/500 (Warner Brothers, 1992). Elmer thinks he has the drop on Bugs In this wonderful Warner Bros. "Masters Collection" limited-edition cel. Signed by Virgil Ross (1907 - 1996) a prolific animator whose long career covered many notable studios and memorable cartoons. At Warner Bros. Virgil was most associated with the lovable rascal Bugs Bunny, having worked on the cartoon rabbit's modern design debut in "A Wild Hare" released 7/27/1940. Inspired by that episode this hand-painted hand-inked cel features Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, and a sign with the episode name. The measurement of the painted characters and sign together is approximately 10.25" x 7". Originally sold at W.B. Studio Stores, this 443/500 edition has been sold out for over 25 years. The cel is presented with its original printed background kept together with white artist tape. In Very Good to Fine condition.Social/Sharing |
