Descriptionpencil and ink on Bristol board17 h × 11 w in (43 × 28 cm) estimate: $1,500–2,000 Don Perlin was a longtime Marvel artist and co‑creator of Moon Knight, debuting the character in Werewolf by Night #32 (1975). He was also known for his extensive work on titles like The Defenders, Ghost Rider, and Werewolf by Night, showing versatility across horror and superhero genres. In the 1990s, he transitioned to Valiant Comics, where he co-created Bloodshot and served as both artist and editor before retiring in the mid‑1990s. Steve Mitchell is a comic book artist who began his professional career in 1972 drawing Marvel Team‑Up stories for Marvel Comics, and soon after shifted to DC Comics with work in G.I. Combat (1973). Over the following years, he contributed scripts and inks to a variety of DC titles, including Our Fighting Forces, Amazing World of DC Comics, Kamandi, and The Superman Family. Social/Sharing |
