Description

Two sheets of concept sketches for the Airwolf logo hand-drawn by renowned concept designer and storyboard artist Andrew Probert for the production of Donald P. Bellisario's Airwolf. Members of the Airwolf crew wore flightsuits and uniforms featuring the wolf-headed Airwolf logo throughout the series.

Best known for his work as a production artist for such films as Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Back to the Future, and Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Probert created these sketches depicting various iterations of a wolf in sheep's clothing - as well as several iterations of the show's title as it might look on a patch or decal - during pre-production. The sketches are rendered, signed, and dated "082383" and "082483," respectively, by the artist in ink and marker. Also included is a printed copy of the final Airwolf logo design. The sheets exhibit some staining and discoloration along their edges. Dimensions: 11" x 8.5" x 0.5" (28 cm x 21 cm x 1 cm)
