Description

Dark Horse Comics Aug 2017 from the story "The Devil in Iron" part 6 Robert E Howard story adapted by Cullen Bunn. Last issue of the Dark Horse run.

Great (over-sized) cover by one of my favorite artists.

I missed picking this one up directly from Tom back in 2017, saw it for sale a few years later but passed, saw it on Romitaman's website and passed again. Then a few weeks ago during a CAF "Wheeling and Dealing with RomitaMan Show" (7/9/2025) I did just that - made an offer and now it in my collection!

Looking to add a few of Tom's Buck Roger pin-ups to my collection now.

Grindberg continues the Conan tradition with great storytelling illustrative flair. It looks like a John Buscema homage with Conan's face and musculature put into action to save the maiden before more demons arrive behind him. Wall to wall world building!

Awesome cover which is now in the best Conan art collection I know.
