This pencil sketch of the Silver Surfer was on the back of the page that I posted yesterday, which was page 1 of Silver Surfer issue 114. It shows Tom Grindberg's preliminary pencil work for his more fully rendered Silver Surfer on the front of the page.

Expressive pose! Very humanistic figuework as Tom Grindberg takes a page out of John Buscema to make Surfer have more of a soulful demeanor looking upwards.
