Description

In Mark Millar's charming short series, a child in 1985 sees characters from his comic books come to life in his neighborhood. This DPS, published wordlessly, shows Doctor Doom committing a little arson. The young protagonist Toby Goodman (no relative to Martin?) watches from the shadows, giving a vibe like an early 1970s House of Mystery cover.

This thing is huge, 18�x24�. Edwards works on thin paper rather than Bristol board, and it suffered a couple of tears along the upper edge during the production process. A chunk is missing where it was taped down during the drawing process. The missing chunk doesn't compromise the art itself -- barely!

This piece was featured in the CAF+ weekly update for November 6, 2025.

I never got around to reading this one but it looks interesting! Great large DPS with some fiery imagery surrounding Doom. No harm to the art no foul on that missing chunk, just adds character!

One of Marvels best modern stories and I never see originals from the series. Such an amazing page!
