DescriptionQuitely's distinctive, detailed linework and dynamic compositions breathe life into Superman. His ability to convey emotion through facial expressions and body language makes Superman feel human and relatable, while still capturing the character's mythic grandeur. This artwork has been used as the official art for Angouleme Comic festival. And... it has hand-drawn background! lol Social/Sharing |

A classic representation of the first super-hero by one of the best to have worked on him.

Quitely is the best there ever was, This is a remarkable piece, Superman soaring over Angouleme, a real treat, and an amazingly rendered background. I really love it, you have some nice Quitely's in your collection, great pick up.

Backgrounds are usually kind of sparse in Quitely works, but when he takes the time like he did here it adds so much. Fantastic linework on the architecture. And the Superman isn't half bad either! Fantastic piece, thanks for sharing!

Inspiring All Star Superman! Looks just like the famous image from it that renewed our love of the character. The Quitely pencils have a balance of elegance and power!

A tremendous Quitely piece - WOW! Full figure Supes balanced beautifully by the attention to detail displayed in the background buildings. All one could want and more. Congrats!
