Description1995 Fleer Ultra Spider Man original preliminary art by Greg Hildebrandt for card #93 “Milestones: Power and Responsibility”. This pencil sketch was the first stage of the published card art, with Hildebrandt using live models for accurate anatomy and positioning before final paint. I remember this set as a kid and always thinking of Mission Impossible when looking at this card lol Greg’s work was and will always be a part of my childhoodSocial/Sharing |

The 90's card art by the Hildebrandts elevated the whole trading card medium and in turn made them more beloved by a whole new generation to discover their fantasy and sci-fi works of the past.
