My roommate Alan saw some of Jim Webb's artwork online, and wanted to get a sketch from him. We went to Jim's table, and he wasn't there, but his portfolio was. We took a look through it, and there was some really nice work. So I decided I ought to ask about a sketch, too. Then Jim showed up and, much to Alan's surprise, it was a former co-worker of his. Anyway, I asked Jim if there were any characters he wanted to sketch. He suggested Power Girl, which sounded fine to me. It was odd, but my roomate had just picked up a few back issues of JSA featuring Power Girl, so we had plenty of reference on hand. The sketch came out really nicely. Afterwards, Jim drew a sketch of the Mist for Alan, which you can see in his Starman gallery (look under Alan Camuto).
