Description

Frank Thorne Marvel Feature #6 Red Sonja Story Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1976). Red Sonja rides along the dangerous roads of Argos when her sense of impending danger detects fearsome werewolves in the shadows waiting to ambush on this opening page drafted by Red Sonja's defining Bronze Age artist, Frank Thorne. Crafted in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 14". The board is lightly toned with adhesive residue in lower margin from missing indicia. Whiteout art correction around credits box, light handling wear, and stat logo paste-up. The header is a stripped-in stat taped from back of page. In Very Good condition.
