Description

Should militaries conceal their most capable weapons to retain the element of surprise or should they reveal them to deter their opponents? I've written about the logic and history surrounding the issue (e.g.: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/01402390.2019.1626724). But you could hardly illustrate it any better than this scene from one of my favorite comics, with U.S. officers trying to decide whether to unleash their Krpytonian wonder weapon on the Germans or continue to keep him a secret.
