Description

How epic is this??? Galactus devouring the Skrull home world in Fantastic Four #257. When I first read this issue it seemed as big a landmark to me as when the Dark Phoenix destroyed the D�bari planet in X-Men #135. I missed out on this when it popped up at auction a couple of years ago and was not going to miss out a second time. Really excited to add this to my collection.

When my 8 year old self couldnt figure out how Galactus eats planets, my neighbor got out his copy of this book and showed me this page while he explained it.

Such a huge and significant moment shaping the Marvel Universe that it would be revisited down the road with Reed's trial and future interactions with the Skrulls like Secret Invasion.

I can stare at that first panel for A WHILE (and switch back and forth with the published because I loved the coloring too). Such an amazing FF and Galactus page. huge congrats on this one, definately a special Byrne FF page.
