I have enjoyed Clayton's artwork for 20+ years at this point. I did have two of his pieces in my collection before, but passed them on. I knew at some point I wanted to get one of his painted works. This sketch cover I was lucky enough to pick up from a Whatnot stream between AC_Comics and Clayton himself. Am I the biggest Aliens fan? No, but I have enjoyed the movies and from a visual standpoint the design by Giger is so iconic and holds up so well that when I saw this for, what I considered, a fair price, I took it. Super glad to have gotten it in. Sorry for the not so great image, but it being slabbed makes taking a great photograph pretty difficult.

Very nice! Seeing it in thumbnail form really shows off what Crain accomplished with the piece. Not easy to deal with a black blank surface and add the slick texture.
