DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!11x16" artboard has pen and ink original art for story page 4 of Superman: The Secret Years #2, published by DC March 1985. Art is by longtime Superman artist Curt Swan (1920-1996) w/inks by Kurt Schaffenberger (1920-2002). Page features four panels, w/first being large splash panel (w/small inset panel) showing Superboy reacting w/alarm over missing search plane in the Bermuda Triangle. Last two panels show Clark Kent's friends swtiching rooms as Clark's new roommate Tommy Lee shows up. Superboy appears in first two panels. Some blue pencil editorial notes along margins. Third panel has pasted caption stat, all else is hand-lettered. Top margin has inked "S'Man/Secret Years" title abbreviation and issue/page numbers. Top margin has been trimmed, lower right and both left corners have been clipped, none affecting art. Back has DC copyright inkstamp. Art remains clean and Exc. Social/Sharing |
