Description

No, I'm not the person who owns the interiors complete so all gratitude upfront to the collector willing to peel the cover off the top. My collection has a Harren focus with some pretty good examples gathered over time but I knew as soon as UM was announced that I'd 'need' a significant and representative UM example for the Harren wing of the gallery to be serious going forward. It's such a pivotal book for him. But it was hard. James included very few splashes or double pages, Issues 1, 4, 5 and 7 sold complete (and 9 hasn't been made available yet), and a couple of drops happened when I was committed elsewhere. I've been lucky to get at least one page from every issue that's dropped along the way but I didn't have my star piece. And this is it, this is the one! The cover I'd have chosen if I'd magically had my choice of all of them.

Congrats! It's an amazing cover with Harren's creature design on steroids! Insects, reptiles, mammals, etc. are mashed up and form a wall to face off against Ultramega!

Oh nice! what an amazing page / cover. It is very unusual for a collector to let a cover go on a complete issue. Well done on convincing them and very cool they let it go to a massive Harren fan! With a worthy custodian!
