DescriptionSilver Surfer (Vol 3) # 34 page 2Art by Ron Lim & Tom Christopher Written by Jim Starlin “Even Demi-Gods Must Dream” Marvel Comics - 1989 / Feb 1990 I'm thrilled to add a page that was drawn early in Lim's Silver Surfer run with Silver Surfer in every panel and some powerful dialog from Starlin, which was their first work together and a BIG issue where Starlin, co-creator of Thanos, resurrects Thanos for his first modern appearance and first time with Silver Surfer. This was the start of the first chapter in writer Jim Starlin's epic saga that would lead into Infinity Gauntlet. This story has been published several times over the years in: • 1990 - Silver Surfer (vol 3) issue 34 • 2006 - Silver Surfer Rebirth of Thanks TPB • 2018 - Silver Surfer (vol 3) issue 34 (True Believers edition) • 2023 - Silver Surfer Epic Collection, Vol. 5: The Return of Thanos Social/Sharing |

Just an absolute beauty. As compelling as any splash of the Surfer in space. Congrats George. The Featured Gallery is looking pretty awesome too.

This series really kicked into high gear with this issue, as Thanos' return really set the stage for him to become Marvel's biggest badass villain for decades to come. A page with so much Silver Surfer content is an absolutely gem to get. Kudos, George!

Just like surfers in the ocean, riding the currents alone makes you contemplate the vastness and power of nature. This is Lim putting an Endless Summer spin on the page.

Nice early Lim Surfer page. He was MUCH better inked this early than later on in the run so you chose well.

I love quieter and more contemplative Surfer scenes like this, and from such a key issue/portion of Starlin and Lim's run! Awesome addition, congrats!

This was such a fun time in comics for me. I never missed an issue of Surfer and this is when things started to really heat up.

The panel perspectives are outstanding. Love the glint of the board and the zoom out in the final panel creates quite the scenic interior! Surf's up brah!
