DescriptionCable vs. Phoenix. I believe this is the first interaction between Nathan Summers and his half-sister, Rachel Summers. Rachel—under the identity of Mother Askani—played a pivotal role in raising a younger version of Nathan in a distant, alternate future.This page was sold as Ken Lashely’s pencils but I’m thinking its Darick Robertson lines there under Randy Elliots inks. A can't miss X-Men crossover event of the times! This was the time when X-Men books were the top sellers and everything in the group was cohesively connected and we got the Magneto pulling adamantium from Wolverine as the crowning moment. This is the wrap up issue as the X-Men return to Earth and the battles don't end!
