Description

Dr. Strange receives a visit from James Mandarin (his first appearance), a man who desires to be taught by the Master of the Mystic Arts and is prepared to go to extreme lengths to achieve this.
Clea also appears on this page, created in India ink and Zipatone over pencil sketches, and mounted on Bristol board with a 10" x 15" image area.

Slightly toned, right side edge trimmed, masking tape residue stains along the top and bottom edges, marginal notes, editorial marks in blue pencil and white veil corrections, stripped text in panel 3 held in place by masking tape on the back, residue stains from missing glue, high points in the bottom margin, with stains and minor handling wear.

In very good condition.

Very cool how Strange transforms into civilian form! Colan's art in the 70's flourishes in the darkness with Palmer enhancing the intrigue where there must be something hiding in the shadows they aren't showing us.
