Description

Usual oversized format of 22 x 34 in. for the Prince Valiant page by Foster.
It has the ocean elements I missed in my other page, in the desert, so very happy.
I love the detailed hatching of the close-up face as well, very intricate.

Each panel is full illustration that you can stare at for hours. The large format made it possible for art collectors to see how Foster went with even more detail to counter lower resolution when shrunk down in the printing stage.

A really beautiful page, especially the top third looks great, but I agree with Ron S. that the faces in panel 6 and 7 are wonderful.
