DescriptionThis is the color guide to my (achieved) grail, Gen13 #1 main cover by J. Scott Campbell!One of my good friends had owned this for over 2 decades I believe. Ever since I got the actual OA to this cover, I have wanted to get this off him as I like to get the OA & matching color guides whenever possible all my Wildstorm stuff. He really didn't want to let it go and it was just something we discussed from time to time, agreeing it would happen eventually. after much discussion, we decided a trade would be the way to go but he only wanted to let it go if we could meet up in person, which took another couple years. But recently we were finally able to meet up in person, have a nice lunch, then look through each other's art. I gave up my best Gen13 cover color guide along with another interior page that was also used as a German variant cover. But I got this, which makes me so happy to finally have BOTH!Social/Sharing |

It's a great Campbell cover as his style had rounded to form towards the end of the mini series and this would be the style that would carry Gen13 and himself to greater stardom. Everyone bought this comic and this cover as one of the hottest 90's title launches so the colors are ingrained in our collective minds.
