Description

Here is the mother of all Jams! Wizard magazine planned a special anniversary jam piece featuring the art of many of the industry's top artists and the characters they are most associated with. Recruiting the best artists, Wizard started with the legendary George P�rez, tapped to create the intricate and star-studded oversized layout, since P�rez was recognized as having a knack for working with large groups of characters (Avengers, New Teen Titans). After P�rez rendered the character composition on the boards in blue pencil, the piece was then sent all over the world to the hottest artists to contribute their key characters to the piece. Throughout the process, the project kept getting held up, and the delays showed that it was just too much trouble to continue shipping the piece to all the various artists, so the unfinished jam landed in the hands of David Finch, who took on the Herculean task of completing the piece, which took him over two years given the size and his attention to detail. With approximately 100 characters taking unified action against what must be a universe-ending threat, this is truly a one-of-a-kind creation that could never be replicated!
