Original, early White Knight–era drawing by Sean Gordon Murphy featuring Batman above the Batmobile. The surviving portion of the sheet contains extensive ink and wash modeling and a highly rendered early Batmobile design.

This artwork represents an early, unpublished version of a splash page that Murphy later re-created for Batman: White Knight. The final published page is shown for comparison only; while the composition is related, this earlier rendering features a more detailed treatment of the Batmobile consistent with Murphy’s process work from this period.

Condition:
Original art board; upper portion removed by the artist during revision. Light handling consistent with studio art.
