Description

This is the penciled prelim from the fifth page of the fight sequence between Red Sonja and Conan in issue #7 of Marvel Feature, drawn by Frank Thorne in 1976 on 6.5 x 10 inch lightweight paper. Compare the prelim to the published page in Additional Images and note a few differences. As is often the case, I prefer the prelim. The big fight panel is a better depiction of Red Sonja in the prelim, and the final inset panel of the serpent behind Conan looks better in the prelim than the published version. The notes in the margin are by Thorne.
