DescriptionA gorgeous finished painting by the great Drew Struzan, from his series of Franklin Mint Plates of the Three Stooges.This one is titled Rub-a-dub-dub. There were 12 plates in total, all sold by Galactic Gallery. Only 1 still remains there. As a collector of Drew's work I really have to call out these plates as quite epic and getting your money's worth. It's finished, polished, full color Struzan art, for a fraction of the price of movie poster finishes or even B&W comps! Now, if you have the cash, I highly encourage you to head over to Galactic Gallery and buy yourself a finished painting for 5-6 figures. But if you're a mortal who can afford 4 figures, loves Drew's work, wants a solid example, and wants characters you know and love, the plates are the best option you'll find. While I am selling this one, it's only because i own 3 others I like more! 30" x 30" mounted illustration board. Shipping is pricey because of size, probably around $200. Social/Sharing |
