Description

Kaine and Spider-Gwen inked commission on a Clone Conspiracy #1 blank cover by Ryan Stegman.

Funny story with this one: I was reading the Clone Conspiracy event and I really enjoyed the friendship/partnership Spider-Gwen had struck up with Kaine during the story, platonically speaking. I knew that Ryan drew Scarlet Spider last decade and I also wanted to see him draw my favourite character of all time, Spider-Gwen.

When I pitched the commission to Ryan, he was very amused by it when I asked for a "best friends" vibe. I just love how he drew the both of them unmasked, arms over each other's shoulders, to convey the vibe. I also had series writer Dan Slott sign it too.
