Description197011 x 17 in Great action-packed scene! With Tana Nile, a Rigellian colonizer who clashed with Thor in classic comics. She often attempts to conquer Earth, but was thwarted by the Asgardian god, leading to her complex relationship with Earth and Thor's realm as a recurring, powerful alien adversary. Thor #212 and Thor #213, published in 1973, weave a dynamic story that was well-received by fans and critics alike. These issues mark the beginning of a captivating saga in which Thor and the Asgardians face off against slave-trading aliens, offering a blend of betrayal, rebellion, and strategy. Writer Gerry Conway, along with artists John Buscema and Don Perlin, delivers a narrative rich in twists and turns and action. The story arc remains engaging and entertaining. Classic episodes from the Silver Age of comics, these issues reveal Thor discovering that Balder has gone mad due to mysterious forces. Upon returning to Asgard, he finds the city deserted, overrun by alien lizards called Sssthgar and the Sssth. They reveal that they were once slaves of the Vrellnexians and that the Asgardians were captured during a conflict. Thor then travels to the planet Golden Star to rescue Odin, but discovers that Sssthgar has manipulated him to exact revenge on the Asgardians. In Thor #213, Thor awakens imprisoned and discovers that the food is drugged to keep the Asgardians under control. With the help of Tana Nile and Hildegarde, he frees the prisoners, destroys the drug factories, and overthrows Sssthgar, all while learning that Sif has been sold to miners in the Dark Nebula. .
