DescriptionThis is a the first page of a 3page sequence from the 1993 revival of The Metal Men. At this point, each of the humans has been transformed into unhuman Metal Men and, after a long absence, revisit their former lives. The three pages before this, Lead visits the pizzeria where he worked. Here, Iron watches his children and imagines how the reunion might go.As a father myself, this scene is especially poignant. I can't help but feel for poor Iron as he discovers his children now call another man Dad. Social/Sharing |

One of the cool things about Metal Men original art is you always get pages with the characters "in hero appearance". Sort of like Nightcrawler and Cyborg.
