Description

Following commissions from Yamato USA in 2017 for the creation of DC Comics figures, Luis Royo continued exploring this type of representation in artworks inspired by pop culture universes filled with superheroines.

Catwoman is a thief from Gotham City who usually wears a tight-fitting one-piece suit and uses a whip as a weapon. She was originally portrayed as a supervillain and adversary of Batman, but since the 1990s she has appeared in a series that presents her as an antiheroine, often doing the wrong thing for the right reasons.

This time, Catwoman�s intentions aren�t entirely clear. It seems her next misdeed might involve us�though we�re not quite sure if it�s her knowing, conspiratorial gaze, the outfit in which she appears to be hinting at something, or perhaps both.
