DescriptionValkyrie has a nightmare where Misery reveals his plan to her where he'll use a B-29 that he's held in his airtomb until present day 1987 to drop a nuclear bomb on Moscow and start World War III.In panel four Misery and Valkyrie are basically similar to how they look in panel three but rather then using a stat with a slight change to how his cloak is draped, Bo Hampton instead draws the characters again then uses some zipatone to create the effect of showing that they have moved from the more ethereal dream realm to the cargo hold of the plane. This piece popped up during CAL 12 and I book marked it early on day one. I think I lasted maybe fifteen minutes of looking at more art before I convinced myself that I'd regret not owning this and I'm so glad I did. Blyberg does such a great job making Hampton's amazing pencils that much better. Social/Sharing |

I don't think there were that many Misery appearances so it's great that you got a page with him on it. Congrats!
