Description

Commissioned by Ghost Machine for Hyde Street, I drew Mr. X-ray, a nonheroic figure in a more heroic pose. In the background are various easter eggs and props, some of which my horror-loving kid helped me with. Mr. X-Ray was drawn without a proper outline, giving him a more otherworldly feel. I also did the colors on the comic cover. Pen and ink on 15 x 22-inch illustration board

Forgive the typo on the DIY "Trepaning" Kit. To further make this image accurate, I used one on myself. The typo was fixed digitally on the actual cover, but the original has that error still, no matter how much whiteout I chug.
