Description

It's in the BLOOD! This is the first NEW horror story I have completed since May (not counting 7 installments of "Frontline Frankenstein" that I did). It is based on a story idea by Jessie Copeland. When I put on my artist's hat, I find it easier to draw when I have an actual person in mind. Sometimes, I'm successful and sometimes it's a challenge to achieve a likeness. With that said, Valentina Von Frankenstein is joined by Mother Freakin' Goose, who I always draw as model Bettie Page. My protagonist is supposed to resemble an older Anthony Perkins, whose Norman Bates ("Psycho" 1960) was inspired by real-life serial killer Ed Gein. The female lead of the story is supposed to resemble the beautiful and talented indie horror actress and model, Amber Brooke (see photo). If you are not familiar with her work, check her out at amber.brooke32. She has been a great supporter of "Horror Shorts," so it was a thrill for me to draw a fan and contributor into one of my stories. I hope that I can do this or similar work with Amber and some of our other supporters in the future. Until then...Enjoy and give generously!
