Ottley inks over his own blue line pencils on just his 5th issue for the series. Robert Kirkman dubbed issue #12 "The Big One": the now infamous Invincible vs. Omni-Man fight. The status quo shift here was groundbreaking (figuratively and in this page literally!) and this fight set the tone for the rest of the series. Omni-Man punches Mark into the mountain the fight concludes on while becoming angrier at his resistance. This is a great singular representation from the issue that sums up the encounter and a real one and done Invincible piece.

Hard to believe this is over 20 years old now, turning this modern comic book vintage! Stat/word balloons are on an affixed transparent overlay. I also included some screenshots from the episode of the animated series which used this page almost panel for panel.

Quality A+ pieces from the series do not come up. Signed by Ottley in the bottom margin in his early Wya style, and again at NYCC 2024.

Price: 25k. Would need to be paid in full within no later than a few weeks of agreeing to sale, as full sale is going straight to another piece. This is only being offered for sale until the first week of March 2026, while I'm trying to close on another Invincible example.
