DescriptionI am increasingly wow-ed by Brian's work. This was the original painting that came with his recent Kickstarter-backed book, Oils and Water, which is quite beautiful.His art. especially in this book, looks very pre-Raphaelite in inspiration, with a bit of a modern slant from Brian. This is fantastic. Her eyes...how the one has a slight glare, bit more closed...is it just analysis...or frustration...? A portrait that begs to know the moment captured so perfectly!

It's so old school too! Those gold flecks and white spots are like deterioration of old photos.
