Description

Easily a top 5 piece in my collection. I grew up watching Batman: The Animated Series and to this day, I believe that iteration of Batman and the Joker have become definitive examples of what the characters should look and sound like. Bruce Timm and his style left a lasting impression on me and I'm stoked to finally own a piece of his work. You can literally SEE the Joker in the Goblins face and I love that so much about this piece. The cherry on top is that I messaged the original owner of this sketch nearly 5 years ago to date! Never got a reply. It seems like fate brought us together because after taking a break from collecting and removing all my keyword notifications, I randomly decided to see what was up for grabs on the market. I had to rub my eyes because I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Was it the same guy I messaged all these years ago?? Long story, short - Yep, It was. And now it's mine! Shoutout to my brutha from anutha, Sonu Kumar for not letting me talk myself out of it. I would've been kicking myself in the ass had I passed this one up! Thanks bro.

Timm boils it down to the animation style! Very fun as there was a Spider-Man animated series running at the same time as BTAS.

Sweet Timm piece! just as you said, the way he does his Joker translates pretty well over to GG, just look at that maniacal expression! looks like patience eventually paid off with this one, congrats!
