DescriptionBeautiful early Mickey Mouse Daily by the Mouse Master, Floyd Gottfredson. This comes from the 40th Mickey Mouse storyline (YM 040) “The Miracle Master” and features Mickey & Minnie in the first week of the storyline. To my knowledge this is the only surviving daily from this storyline and the only surviving Gottfredson daily from 1939 (and one of only two known surviving Gottfredson dailies from 1939-1941), making this a rare treat indeed (to my knowledge it is also the oldest surviving Gottfredson daily with Mickey’s “new look, which was introduced to the comic strip December 22nd 1938).First published September 13th 1939… 20,000$ & shipping Social/Sharing |
