DescriptionOne of my favorite movies is The Thing by John Carpenter. A few years ago they decided to publish a book of art related to the movie by a bunch of different artists. This piece was penciled and inked by Christian Dibari and digitally colored by Simon Gough, also known as "The 2099 colours of Simon Gough" and its one of the pieces showcased in the book. This piece is drawn from the image of The Thing towards the end of the movie when it morphs into this hideous creature to attack Mac. I have the original art and I added the digitally colored piece in the additional images area which I own as well. Very cool and nicely done.Social/Sharing |

Perfect! Almost got this book, love seeing this illustration here! Congrats! One of my favorite movies, too. Brilliant. Now I have to watch it again tomorrow. ;)
