I wouldn’t call myself a die-hard Batman fan, but my son is absolutely obsessed with Robin—and if I’m being honest, I’ve always had a soft spot for Batgirl. So when this piece popped up for the 2026 OAX charity auction, it instantly caught my eye. Seeing it in person sealed the deal— I just knew it had to have it.

It’s hard to put into words how incredible this artwork is. It’s got that perfect mix of grit and polish; the inks are impossibly crisp, and the expressions capture everything I love about these characters. You can really feel the mood in the work.

I also had the chance to chat with Kevin both before and after the auction at his booth, and he couldn’t have been more kind. I’ll definitely be following his work closely from here on out.

Now, I can’t wait to get this framed and up in my son’s room so he can enjoy it with the other works that adorn his walls.

Oh, you got this one!  Big congrats!  Just an awesome Batman family piece by Kevin.  Absolutely love everything about it.  Sheer perfection.

Love that Nowlan's version of Robin actually looks like a kid.  While Batman's child endangerment practices could be called into question, if you're going to draw Robin, this is how to do it!

I like that the texture on Bats' cape actually looks like a bat wing. Great piece!

Congrats! The star here is Robin. Just like in my house. Love how Kevin turns out that left shoe just like so many of Travis pieces. One of the top three in the auction.
