DescriptionThe original painted art for the cover for Ninjak #5. The illustration by writer Mark Moretti was originally used as an advertisement promoting the appearance of X-O Manowar in Ninjak #5. As this was Moretti's first opportunity to draw Ninjak he lavished detail on the figures. The same illustration was used for the PA1 chase card from the Valiant Era 2 trading card set. Both the advertisement and the chase card had slightly different colors.This is the original art used to print the book. The original ink art was photographed as a blue line onto board. The blue line was then painted with gouache and other medium. The acetate of the lettering was placed over the blue line and was sent to the printer. Social/Sharing |
