DescriptionThis is piece I bought during the Morrie Turner Fundraiser. This fundraiser is to support a documenary on Morrie Turner called "Keeping the Faih." The documentary will not only talk about Morrie Turner but will talk about George Herriman, Aaron McGurder and other minority comic strip artist. Scholarship like this is limited in the black community so I try to support it whenever possible. About the piece itself: I am a big fan of Keith Knight's work and I love the homage he gave to his minority collegues. The piece is signed by Keith Knight, Aaron McGruder (of Boondocks Fame), and Morrie Turner. Pretty cool huh.Social/Sharing |

This is very cool indeed! His strip is one of the best things going. Our local city paper stopped running it so I just check his website nowadays. I just commissioned a piece by Keith (Batman and the Joker!) and can't wait to see what he comes up with.
