art is 18x24 12-7-07,
air brushed,
sad to announce is the post office damaged this art with creases down the middle n a puncture upper middle of this art,
on front n back of the packaged art are the words,artwork pls dont bend or puncture,
a very beautiful piece ruined by some assholes,
attention artists n collectors, heres an udate on my communication with the post office on filling a claim on my ruined art,according to what im told is you will receive monies only if the art was insured n only the amount it was insured for. so even tho its taken yrs to get this piece from mike n we lost contact with each other. i paid $400 yrs ago n even tho its the post offices fault they will only give what mike insured the art for which was only $400 the amount i paid yrs ago. mike said to re-do the art would cost up to $2500
so my advise is this insure all art for exactly what it cost you to buy from the artist or a fellow collector.also the post office keeps your art n in 2 yrs auctions it off, what a bunch of fucks. i'll check into it to see if they legaly can keep the item.update i received only the insured amount :( which wasnt what i paid for to get the art done.so they do get to keep damaged items

Maybe Thanos can direct that energy blast at your local Postal worker! Still a very cool piece!

sorry to hear your story...We've all been there.... In my mind it's always smart to pack artwork between two pieces of masonite.
