My first Vince Locke original!! Entitled "Spring." 1 of 4 seasons paintings that were to be used for a Deadworld calander that sadly never happened. Ended up being the cover for Negative Burn #13.

Ink, watercolor and acrylic on Bristol. 5” x 10

Thanks to A. Leano for the assist - he also owns "Fall" in his gallery.

This is wonderful. What makes it truly awesome is the different uses of color. I don't think I've ever seen a Locke piece that conveys horror but also beauty the way this does. Anthony pointed out "Summer" to me and I ended up grabbing it. Congratulations on owning this treasure.

This is such a mixture of the visceral (literally as well as figuratively) and a kind of delicate sophistication, even beauty. I could describe it as either disturbing or whimsical (but not disturbingly whimsical), or perhaps sweet and rancid, but I suppose I should simply describe it as "amazing."
